Our story starts with a young entrepreneur with a deep fascination of cars. At the age of 3, Eric Alimena began helping his father in the garage restoring and maintaining the family vehicles. In High School his passion for cars turned into a passion for racing. This lead to a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech with a pursuit of the automotive and motorsports industries.
During his senior year in college he began racing touring cars and rally cars. This is where Eric got introduced to AMSOIL. What sold Eric on AMSOIL was the high temperature capabilities and low rolling resistance which increased performance over other oils. In three years, he won numerous Sports Car Club of America races, ranked 1st in the SCCA Atlanta Region in 2000, and in 2001 won the SCCA Pro IT Championship in the ITC class.
In 2007, Eric started Alimena Limousine & Worldwide Transportation and purchased a 2004 Lincoln Town Car with 26,000 miles. The first opportunity for service he switched to AMSOIL oils and now the car has over 600,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. The oil has been changed every 30,000 miles with AMSOIL Signature 5w30 with occasional oil analysis, AMSOIL Ea oil filter every 10,000 miles and transmission fluid every 50,000 miles under partial drain with AMSOIL ATF. The car has now become Eric’s personal car and it still accelerates, shifts and idles like it did when purchased in 2007. Eric believed in the product so much that in 2012 he became an AMSOIL dealer.
